    1. Yes, yes, I know this is basically/pretty much a little kid's book. I mean ages 8-12. And I definitely don't fit into that age range. The thing was I really wanted to have a light read (still do! Need to have some bubblegum fluff or something nice to read!), and I just happen to own this book, so I gave it a shot. I ended up really liking it too XD. I mean, there's a lot I wish was different; that there had been a lot more description, character development, romance (*cough* that was nonexistent [...]

    2. While Zally would actually be the 1st fairy godmother in training, I like that hers is the third. In the first books, Zally is mysterious, and you want to hear her story. So when you read- or really when I read- Zally's book, you are excited to here here story.

    3. Another very slow, plodding, and poorly constructed attempt to make a 13 year old into a magical mapmaker (without her being given any instructions or guidance in how to map a completely fictional dream world), animal "whisperer", and healer of animals, as part of her matrilineal lineage. The tasks Zally was expected to be able to perform were both unreasonable and poorly integrated into her single quest. The story line was highly disconnected, poorly conceived, and the pacing so slow, I nearly [...]

    4. I really wish this story had been written before Birdie's book, as Zally is really the first girl to have a fairy godmother adventure in the series. Kerka and Birdie's stories really flowed together seamlessly, so I was surprised at how disconnected this book felt from the others. I hope that the author makes an effort to bring all the stories back into line in future books.

    5. This book is awesome it is very creative and you have to imagine it in order to understand it but otherwise it is very COOL! So anybody should try it. ;)
