      Bob Flaws born 1946 is a practitioner of and prolific author and translator on Chinese medicine He began his study and practice of Chinese medicine in 1977 under the late Eric Xi yu Tao of Denver, Colorado and continued his Chinese medical education at the Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 1982 to 1986 In 1982, he and his wife, Honora Lee Wolfe, established Blue Poppy Press which eventually grew into Blue Poppy Enterprises, Inc of Boulder, Colorado.

    1. Interesting but some of the advice is not clear. It told me to rub my child's abdomen in the opposite direction of the large circles. What does that mean? It has a good description of the way Chinese medicine practitioners diagnose and treat children.


    2. I am a practitioner of oriental medicine with a focus on pediatrics. This is something I would give a parent to read but first I'm going to reread it myself. I loved this book. I thought it was a bit in depth for the lay parent though, but it's very informative.
