    1. This review was originally posted on Addicted To RomanceJust Another Viscount In Loveis a short and sweet romance that made me smile and left me feeling fully satisfied and so joyful. This was a shorter book, so obviously it did have the normal a bit rushed feel to it as all novellas tend to feel like. But quite honestly, it totally worked for this story and this couple. I haven't had a chance to read the previous three books in the series, but I was definitely more than fine reading this one as [...]

    2. Lowkey and lovely are the words I would use to describe Just Another Viscount in Love. While insta in nature, the romance between Sam and Gemma was very sweet and surprisingly tender. I really enjoyed watching our two highly tentative mains take the biggest risk of all: falling in love. Something else I liked was how Vivienne Lorret took the story’s greatest weakness, that being Gemma’s debilitating and often times frustrating self doubt, and turned it into a strength. After so many pages fu [...]

    3. The newest addition to The Season's Original Series. From the first paragraph I was hooked. Viv's writing is lyrical and enchanting. This book brought a smile to my face that lasted through the whole story. Gemma is a young lady who has spent most of her life trying to escape from her father. He is a criminal that forced her to help him cheat people. She has finally back in England with her Aunt, but she cannot escape the notoriety of her surname. She is ostracized by the Ton. Her Aunt decides i [...]

    4. I absolutely loved this novella. It was so sweet, so romantic. I'm a tough sell on romance novellas. Especially if the characters are meeting for the first time. But I like this series so I thought I'd give it go. I'm glad I did. It's really easy for novellas to come off as instalove and just over the top. Even more difficult is selling it for historical romances but somehow this worked.Samuel, the Viscount Ellery, is looking for a wife. He also happens to be a romantic at heart because his pare [...]

    5. Samuel, Viscount Ellery is ready to marry, and his position, demeanor and reputation should prove no obstacle. But, he’s unlucky: each woman he has pursued has gone off and married someone else. Determined, if a bit cautious about the marriage mart, he’s decided to host a house party to which he’ll invite some close friends, a few select eligible debutantes and hope for the best. Sam is a wonderfully complex and gallant man: he’s laden with a generosity of spirit and a genuine goodness, [...]

    6. Just Another Viscount in Love is a novella in the Season's Original series by Vivienne Lorret. I have read the other books, but it's not necessary to have done so in order to understand and enjoy this book.Samuel Worthington, Viscount Ellery is feeling a little fed up. It seems twice he has given his heart to women with the intention of marriage only to have them be in love with somebody else. As the last straw, he holds a house party and invites a few eligible women with a view to choosing one [...]

    7. He needed to spend his life with her. And he knew that no one else would ever compare. Samuel Wortham, Viscount Ellery, wants to settle down and get married. If only he could find the right woman but it seems each lady he’s so far thought he would be able to love eventually ends up marrying someone else. So he organises a house party, hoping he would find a wife among his guest. Instead he finds himself captivated by a beautiful stranger he finds by his estate’s pond and unwilling to not see [...]

    8. This book was a delight from start to finish. I was a little sad that it was so short, but that was plenty of time to tell the story of Gemma and Sam's thunderstruck, love at first sight, lovers passing in the library romance. It was the perfect mix of awww and oooo, with loads of sweetness from the beta hero, Sam, and a little bit of sensuality here and there to help the reader FEEL the heat and desire simmering beneath the surface. Gemma's sweet nature and disbelief in her worth was overdone to [...]

    9. 4 StarsThis was a delightful novella with two likable characters and a romance that was quick, but sweet.I received an eARC of this book from Avon via the Avon Addicts Program in exchange for an honest review.<.i>

    10. As reviewed at Roses Are Blue: wp/p3QRh4-BySamuel Wortham, Viscount Ellery, is ready to settle down - in fact, he's looking forward to it with great anticipation. The problem is, his two previous attempts at courtship amounted to nothing, as the young ladies fell in love with other men. Now, a little leery, but determined nonetheless, Sam is going to host a houseparty which will include several eligible debutantes, along with a few of his friends. Maybe the close group will produce the lady mean [...]

    11. I have read and enjoyed all three books in this series, but this installment was considerably weaker for me. Part of it might be because of the inherent problems which often come with novellas. The story is very very simple and the love is Insta. Honestly though, my biggest issue was that I was a little bit bored.Poor Samuel definitely deserved a happy ever after, considering he was cast aside by the other heroines in the series through no fault of his own. He is handsome, kind, and really quite [...]

    12. 3,5 starsIt was sweet and simple and I even believed the romance though it was quite fast; but that's what we usually get in short stories. It even made me want to try reading the rest of the seriesSometimes I just need a fast read between novels and this one was a nice break!

    13. Love It!This is the Sweetest Romance, I love this book! These are the perfect h/h, you want to be friends with them, you would like to know his parents, and her Aunt! Absolutely Perfect! I highly recommend! Thanks! Enjoy!carolintallahassee 👒

    14. I don’t usually read novellas. Unless the characters already know each other, I feel like the storyline never feels developed enough and the interactions and romance feel rushed. I still think of all the ways that Hoyt’s Ice Princess could’ve been such a satisfying book if only it was longer!! But - I broke my own rule because I felt sorry for Viscount Ellery. He was the sweetly affable almost-suitor for two of the series in this novel, and I wanted him to get his HEA! I also didn’t real [...]

    15. Posted on What I'm ReadingIn the series, Sam has been having a hard time finding a bride. Every time he seems to find the perfect candidate her heart lies with another. Poor Sam, so he's home recuperating and decides to hold a house party. Now Gemma Desmond has been blacklisted from pretty much everything, because of the crimes of her father. I guess the ton sees her as the apple that hasn't fall far from the tree. Truly heartbreaking, because she's a sweet girl. She doesn't hold much hope, and s [...]

    16. This was definitely not my normal genre for reading, but I saw this book and thought I would take a chance on it, as the blurb was really goo, it is a shorter read (perfect for tube journeys) and I loved the sweet cover. I was definitely not let down, and found myself impressed with both the story and the author's ability to give us something sweet, romantic and light-hearted, with a good deal of detail, in a small package. I liked the style the author has, as it really lends itself to the sweet [...]

    17. 1.5 stars. Did not like it, nor hated it, but not okay. For a novella, it's sooo long-winded. Some scenes in the chapter 7 and 8 can be omitted. And it was evident that both Sam and Gemma were nymphomaniacs---getting aroused with just the grazed of fingers and bumping of arms?? Even there were layers of clothes between them?? Duh!?Additionally, they gave too much meaning on each other's gazes, statements and among others. Especially Aunt Edith. In reality, this too much analyzation and interpreta [...]

    18. 4.5 out of 5 stars"Just Another Viscount in Love" by Vivienne Lorret is a delightful historical romance novella about beleaguered heroine Gemma Desmond trying to cope with the stigma of a notorious father. Her serendipitous meeting with a gentleman who admires her skill at tickling fish gives her hope that she can have an untainted relationship—at least until he finds out who she is. For his part, Samuel Wortham, Viscount Ellery, hopes he may have found his ideal, a woman who is honest with hi [...]

    19. Sam, Viscount Ellery, is looking for a bride. When he comes upon Gemma Desmond, he has no idea that she has been tarnished in the Ton's eyes by the behavior of her father. Gemma is very conscious of her repute, and though she is attracted to Sam, she doesn't want to ruin his reputation by association. This is a short and very sweet romance. Sam and Gemma are both so likeable and make a lovely couple. I hadn't read anything else by this author, but this certainly drew me in and I will look for mor [...]

    20. Gemma is a young lady trying to shake the scandal of her father's past and Samuel is a man wishing to settle down. They meet, they're instantly attracted, in love not long thereafter and bar a few hiccups along the way they live happily ever after. It was a sweet, harmless romance. I cannot rave about it because it was rather tame and mellow, but neither was it the worst thing I've ever read. Both characters were decent people who deserved to be happy. Overall, an okay read.

    21. This was a sweet finale to the Season's Original series. I loved Viscount Ellery in the earlier books, so I was super happy to see him get his happy ending. After courting two women and failing to get married, Samuel Wortham, Viscount Ellery is questioning his own judgment. However, he still really wants to get married. He wants a wife, and his father is unwell and likely to die soon, but he'd like to see his son married first, so at the suggestion of Juliet, from When a Marquess Loves a Woman, h [...]

    22. This was a very short and very sweet romance. There was lots of things to like about it. I thought the dialogue between the main characters was snappy and smart. I really liked the characters and I thought the chemistry between them was wonderful. It was very cute and well written but the problem was that it was way too short. I could have done with an extra hundred pages just to round out the characters and story line a little bit more.

    23. I like how the characters seem to understand each other well. Gemma's long suffering experiences has made her wary but it has also made her stronger. Sam is so sweet and loving. That part when she was framed for theft, during the fireworks, I wanted to stop reading because I didn't want to read about her being thought of as a bad person. Her aunt is a paragon of patience and understanding and the perfect companion who not only protects her but knows her well too.

    24. This was my first time reading Vivienne Lorrett. I received a copy in exchange for a fair and honest review.Having none of other work to judge it by I found Just Another Viscount in Love to be quite a delightful, fun read. I love it when authors write novella's in the midst of a series. It keeps the series going until the next novel.I found this novella to be well written and plotted. So much so that I intend to read the first books of the series. I look forward to more by this author.

    25. I'm so happy Viscount Ellery got his own story and doubly happy that Gemma was his heroine. I've thoroughly enjoyed this series, just wish the book could have been longer. Can't wait to see what author Vivienne has planned next. For readers who love Anne Gracie, Anne Bradley, and historical a bit at the sweeter end of the heat spectrum. Additionally, this is a nice read for a short evening.

    26. Two and a half stars, rounded up to three because doesn't do halfsies. Cute novella, but the short length meant the story suffered from insta-love and contrived obstacles to the HEA without real emotional development, just a sudden epiphany that the heroine should let go of years of emotional trauma for the love of a good man. Basically, it's cute fluff, not a lot of substance.

    27. 4.5 starsLike Sam, this novella is clever, charming and easy to fall in love with. Treads a seemingly familiar path but doesnt fall prey to some of the usual pitfalls, Looking forward to Holt's story

    28. Heroines all resembleMy least favourite of the set. I did not care for Gemma and the pacing of the story was incredibly slow and uninteresting.
