    1. 4 action-packed stars.****Review completed June 18, 2013Former SEAL and platoon team leader Hunter Phillips is plagued by bad memories after a mission gone awry when he gets a call from Tom Webster, the owner and president of Titanium Security. Tom is short on human resources and he needs the best men in Pakistan to execute a very important job. Besides, Hunter is familiar with the area and knows how to deal with the locals and officials. To top everything off, Tom wants Hunter to be team leader [...]

    2. 4.5 starsHunter Phillips, former SEAL and now an operative for Titanium Security, a private security firm, is team leader hired to protect Khalia Patterson, an American carrying on the legacy of her late father's work in building schools for girls in Pakistan.I've read quite a few authors of military romantic suspense and imo, there is no one who writes this genre as well as Ms Cross. Her research is impeccable. She writes realistic characters and dialogue. Her heroes in particular are drawn wit [...]

    3. When it comes to romantic suspense, no one does it better than Kaylea Cross. This read is fast paced, thrilling, with great plot and vivid characters that will have you hooked. Not to mention her wonderfully, scintillating, gorgeous, hunk-a-licious heroes that will raise your body temperature and give you hot-flushes in no time. My goodness Hunter is absolutely gorgeous, and he certainly knows how to handle a weapon and a woman. Growl!HunterLoved, loved this book and for all you romantic suspens [...]

    4. 4.5 HOLY HELL stars!I enjoyed Kaylea Cross's Bagram Special Ops series and was thrilled to see this first in her newest, Titanium Security, being reviewed (and loved) in droves! Being slow, as I often am, to jump on board 'the latest thang' train, and even knowing I'd get a great read, I've just now finally finished Ignited and am here to tell you, it ROCKS!DescriptionWhen her father is murdered by a Taliban cell in the tribal regions of Pakistan, Khalia Patterson reluctantly steps into his shoe [...]

    5. Khalia Patterson's philanthropist father had a mission to educate girls in Pakistan until he was savagely murdered in the country. Now that the school he had built is ready to open weeks later, she musters the courage to undertake the dangerous trip to represent him at the opening. Titanium Security operative Hunter Phillips is heading Khalia's security detail and isn't looking forward to going back to the site where he lost his best friend in the riotous aftermath of Patterson's murder. And, he [...]

    6. Kaylea Cross never fails to give readers a well-written and smooth flowing storyline. She also continues to rev up the action and romance in an unmatched style that is truly her own in each of her military-based romantic suspense books. With the debut of her latest series, “Ignited” is a powerful introduction to the addictive world of Titanium Security and its crew of characters, action-packed drama, and supersonic romance. From start to finish Kaylea Cross plopped me down in the middle of a [...]

    7. 5 starsOnce again Kaylea Cross has written an amazing story of courage, compassion, inner-strength, and the will to persevere even if the odds are all against you.The main character Hunter Phillips is a former navy SEAL, and now the lead on a personal security detail for Titanium Security. His principal is Khalia Patterson, a high school math teacher who is in Pakistan in order to fulfill her father's last wishes of finally opening a girls school that he had been vigilantly working on before he [...]

    8. Heart Pounding action and suspense! I was glued to this book through its entirety. Absolutely compelling.Hunter and Khalia got off on the wrong foot, but they were perfect for each other. Both strong, honorable, levelheaded, intelligent, and sensual – I enjoyed the instant connection between them, and later the passion and the need.Khalia was such a great character. I admired her courage and vision. Her story and desire to help those little girls were inspiring.I absolutely loved this book. Th [...]

    9. 3.25 ✭Pleasant enough read. Nothing earth shattering or particularly memorable, but okay. This is my first book by this author.Hunter is sent (back)to Pakistan to lead a group of ex-military men in the protection of the daughter of a recently assassinated philanthropist. Hunter just lost his best friend to the riots that ensued after Khalia's father was killed by the Taliban. Khalia goes to Pakistan just weeks after her father's death to finish what he started. She doesn't particularly want to [...]

    10. Love Kaylea Cross and she writes a great military/special ops type romance. KC does a spectacular job of putting the reader in the action. Ignited, is heavier on the ops with the romance developing later in the story. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, a rush to the coupling of Hunter/Khalia wouldn’t have been believable in this story. Just wish we could have had a bit more of Hunter/Khalia back in the US wallowing in their HEA. Just wanted to spend a bit more time with them. Since t [...]

    11. Review posted: Happily Ever After - ReadsBlog rating: B+Hunter, a part of the security company, Titanium, is still reeling from the loss of his best friend during a job when their team was ambushed. While still grieving, he’s asked to lead a team to provide protection for Khalia, a math teacher who’s trying to carry out her father’s last wishes of seeing a school for girls in Pakistan become a reality. Khalia doesn’t necessarily want to be in this dangerous part of the world, but she’s [...]

    12. Kaylea Cross is an amazing writer of military romantic suspense novels! This is a great start to a new series. Ignited shows Kaylea Cross at her best. She has created an engaging storyline that grabs you right from the start with an intense, adrenaline-pumping opening that I literally could not put down. Both Hunter and Khalia are great, realistic protagonists grounded in their dedication to their joint mission. I appreciate Cross’s attention to detail, and really developing the emotions and t [...]

    13. Kaylea Cross never fails to deliver a solid, fast paced extravaganza and this book is no different. I really enjoyed this story -especially Hunter. I think he is officially my favorite Cross hero so far. Looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

    14. *2,5 stars*This was another fast paced romantic suspense by Kaylea Cross. As usual with her books I really enjoyed the action scenes. I also liked the characters, principal and secondary, but somehow something was missing. I think I would have liked more background on the heroine. Or did I miss something? Why does she has an Arabic first name? Why did her father chose that aim for his foundation? Also, I think that Ryan could have had a more consistent participation. Last, I don't mind insta lov [...]

    15. Love discovering great new authors & series! What an intense read from cover to cover. Well-written, authentic, great suspense, plot & romance. I really enjoyed getting to know these characters & found their evolving romance to be believable even in the midst of all the chaos. Great start to a series. I look forward to continuing & am really hoping for Gage & Claire's story. A Must Read!

    16. I can't believe that as much as I love romantic suspense, I waited so long to read this book! A great mix of ex-military hotties, well written suspense, and very steamy bits. Reminded me a bit of The Titan series. Loved it and excited to read more. A solid 4.5 STAR read! I purchased this book as part of the Dangerous Attraction Romantic Suspense Boxed Set/Anthology.

    17. Got a terrorist in chapter 2 named Youssef who's thinking about how indecent this woman is dressed because she's not wearing "robes" or a hijab like please kill me white people need to stay the hell away from writing PoC its exploitative, gross and 99.9% based in racial tropes. No, thanks!

    18. Rating: 3 out of 5.This was a lovely book that I would recommend to people who love romantic suspense novels and alpha heroes.I wish I liked it more, but don't let my rating prevent you from reading this book.Thank you Jill for lending it to me!

    19. Two-haiku review:Her father was killedShe must continue the workHe must protect herPakistan settingA lot happens in short timeWell done action scenes

    20. Kaylea Cross has done it again. If you like military romantic suspense, you really need to check out Ignited, the first book in her new Titanium Security Series. I think this is one of her best books yet! It is engaging from the beginning, hard to put down until the end and very well balanced between the romance and suspense.Hunter Phillips is assigned to Khalia Patterson as head of her security team just a short time after the loss of his close friend in Pakistan. He doesn't want to go, but can [...]

    21. The only redeeming quality of this book is that at least it wasn't rage inducing.Everything else, from the terrible writing to the execution of the story and even the thinly veiled racist overtones was atrocious. The relationship read so force and dialogue between the romantic couple was really uninspiring. I couldn't connect to the story, it all read so cliché and incredibly predictable. There was also pacing issues and the author had a hard time keeping the momentum from the high stress situa [...]

    22. This is the story of Khalia Patterson and the leader of the security team hired to protect her, Hunter Phillips. She needs protection because she is traveling to Pakistan to open the school for girls that her father's foundation built. Her father was killed by a terrorist cell of the Taliban in the region who will do anything to stop their efforts to educate girls. Hunter is an ex-Seal who is assigned to Khalia's security detail shortly after one of his best friends has been killed by the same t [...]

    23. Really liked this book. I must confess that I never read anything from this genre, but this book was really good for a new reader like me. I liked the romance in a military atmosphere and also how real it felt. The book had some descriptive scenes, but nothing that disrupted the book's pace. I really liked how that author had many POV's during the book which make us feel like we could get it a better understand of the plot. The characters are great, Khalia isn't a "damsel in distress", after eve [...]

    24. Why did I wait so long to read something by Kaylea Cross? I've seen her name mentioned on my TL many times and clicked "want to read" on several of her books. Heck, I even own several of her books. Let me tell you, I won't wait so long to read something else by her! This was action packed from the very beginning. Hunter lost his best friend and teammate in a situation in Pakistan, and then was sent back to Pakistan for another operation almost immediately after the funeral. The second operation w [...]

    25. Kaylea Cross is one of my very favorite authorseverything she writes I LOVE. To say that I was excited about a new series from her would be a MASSIVE understatement. I was not disappointed. I loved Hunter and Gage and the Titanium crew and I cannot wait for more!!! Khalia was a great character and I loved her bravery. Can't wait for Gage and Claire!!!
